BonCulina UK is continuing its growth strategy by implementing its food quality assurance programme, in its Colchester-based production unit, and accelerating product improvement and development initiatives to rapidly enhance the culinary standards and service excellence for its healthcare clients.
According to a survey sent out by BonCulina to existing healthcare clients in the UK, 31% of the respondents answered that the overall flavour profile was better than expected and 62% that it met their expectations.
David Garland, managing director of BonCulina UK, said: “Following the acquisition of Anglia Crown in May the business has added significantly to its production capacity and distribution fleet and we have seen our healthcare division in the UK grow by more than 50%.
While we were pleased with the overall feedback, our recent survey highlighted room for improvement in certain areas and our culinary team is revisiting recipes, sourcing new high-quality ingredients and enhancing our cooking techniques to deliver the highest standards of taste within healthcare catering.
We are passionate about culinary standards and committed to delivering simple, consistent, flexible, cost-effective, and responsible catering options that our customers can rely on. We know this is a process of continuous improvement and we won’t stop here. We’re committed to listening to our customers, making it easier for them to feedback on our food.”
